Khartoum, 10 July (SUNA)- The General Coordinator of the Popular Committees in the Sudan, Mahmoud Abdeen, has called for formation of a public opinion rejecting any infiltration in the African continent seeking admission of the Zionist entity as an observer within the African Union.
In a statement to the Sudan news agency Abdeen said Israel has no relations with the African continent and that on the contrary it has some vested interests that would complicate the threats and menaces that face the African continent, particularly the threat to the water share of each of Egypt and the Sudan.
He said this situation would flare the differences and the contradictions among Arab countries, adding that Israel is not a member in the Afro-Arab groupings.
Abdeen has commended the stand of the Sudanese diplomacy which rejected such an infiltration.
He urged for rejecting any move to include such an Israel approach within the agenda of the coming African Union summit meetings. Ma/ma
