Sudan hosts the joint ministerial committees with Arab Gulf countries

Jan 24, 2015-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Foreign Ministry stressed that the next period will see the joint ministerial committees between Sudan and Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the U.A.E. which aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation in various fields between Sudan and the Arab Gulf States.
Sudan’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Yousif Al-Kordofani, said in a press statement on Saturday that the country has extended its relations with neighboring countries as a diplomatic priority, where Sudanese-Egyptian discussions chaired by the Foreign Ministers of the two countries held recently He explained that Sudan gives great priority to address the neighborhood countries through hosting the meeting of Libyan neighboring countries in order to stabilize the Libyan situations attended by Foreign Ministers of Egypt Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Chad, and Niger Sudanese diplomat noted that the movements of the foreign ministry stresses that diplomacy had begun steps to restore Sudan's role in the region through initiatives to resolve conflicts in neighboring countries, along with the ongoing efforts to support Sudan Arabic relations. Al-Kordofani said his country recently hosted a Chinese initiative to push a "IGAD" initiative to reach a comprehensive political settlement of the conflict in South Sudan with participation of the Foreign Ministers of China, Ethiopia South Sudan and IGAD.
