Sudan scholars call on citizens to protest against the new publishing of harlie Hebdo

Jan 16, 2015-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan scholars Authorities called on citizens to take to the streets to protest on the new publishing of the French newspaper which was attacked by two terrorists last week because it has pictured the Prophet Muhammad. In statement carried by Sudan News Agency (SUNA) on Thursday the Islamic authority called for demonstrations across the country after Friday prayer to protest the publication of the weekly French newspaper. The head of the authority, Mohamed Osman Salih, said the demonstration will start after the end of Friday prayer from Khartoum Grand Mosque, adding there is a “clear border between freedom and abuse of religious beliefs” He added that these demonstrations will continue every Friday until the stop of this evil action from the French Government, pointing out that publishing of this act is an insult to every Muslim across the world, demanding the French Government to apologize to all Muslims around the globe Salih called on all Islamic Governments to condemn this disgraceful act which is contrary to all international laws, covenants and commitments.
