Sudan demands South Sudan to immediately stop harboring rebel movements

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Foreign Ministry urged South Sudan’s government to take practical and immediate steps to stop harboring and supporting the rebel movements, stressing that the interests of the two countries must be based on clear and proper protection of their stability. The official spokesman of Sudan’s Foreign Ministry, Yousif Al-Kordofani, said in press statements on Sunday that the State of South Sudan is still continuing continue support the rebel movements and providing logistical and material support which contract with the spirit of the relations between the two countries. He disclosed that his Khartoum government has documented information about those violations, calling on Juba to maintain the relationship and commitment to the promises made to stop support of the rebel groups Al-Kordofani added that Sudan is keen on continuing the relationship with the South Sudan, especially there are Cooperation Agreements between the two countries, stressing the completion terms of the security arrangements which will help the parties to achieve peace and stability and build confidence and zero line and the demilitarized zone. He stressed Sudan’s keenness to stabilize the situation in South Sudan through participation in a number of initiatives in the framework of IGAD to contribute to the political settlement between the parties to the conflict in the South Sudan.
