Sudan will open the registration process for Sudanese abroad next Wednesday

Khartoum- SudaneseOnline-Sudan National Elections Commission (NEC) announced that it will open of the registration process for Sudanese abroad next Wednesday to participate in the coming elections to be held in April 2015; at the time it confirmed that it will publish the final register for Sudanese inside on 30th of this month The b NEC Director for the Electoral Registry, Al-Hadi Mohamed Ahmed revealed that the registration of Sudanese working abroad will start next Wednesday and last for one week, pointing out that his commission with consultation with (7) States specified registration centers, explaining that the registration process includes a review of voter registration in 2010 to ensure inclusion in the register and opportunity for those who are not registered and do not satisfy the conditions in the previous electoral register. He added that the final register for Sudanese inside will be published via the registration on 30th of this month Opposition parties accuse the current president Omer al-Bashir of continuing to jail dissidents, censoring the media and closing newspapers, making a mockery of his stated commitment to a national dialogue. The opposition also boycotted the last presidential election in April 2010, citing fraud. Presidential and parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held on April 2.
