Sudan’s ruling party calls on opposition parties to participate tin the polls

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s ruling National Congress Party (NCP) directed its all institutions to share opinion with all political parties and calling the latter to participate in the coming general elections, urging its alliances to take part in the polls which would take place in April 2015 In press statements after the meeting of the NCP political sector on Monday, the spokesman of the ruling party, Yasir Yousif, confirmed his party sticks to participate in the polls and support of the National Elections Commission (NEC) to organize the elections on time. He explained that his party’s position supports the reaching to comprehensive and political compromise on Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan states, calling the rebel Sudan People Liberation Movement- North (SPLM-N) to avoid small tactics to reach lasting solution to the Two Areas Sudan’s general elections are set to be held in April 2015, but opposition parties are refusing to participate saying the environment is not conducive for fair and free polls.
