Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Foreign Ministry revealed on Tuesday that a plan is being prepared by foreign organizations to fabricate rape confessions in Darfur and Blue Nile, stressing that it will expel the African Union-United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) if it fails to adhere to the exit strategy and its mandate, accusing the mission of committing "heinous and great" crimes and abuses during past periods. In press conference on Tuesday, Sudan’s Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Abdullah al-Azrag, disclosed that they had information indicating that some attempts have been made by certain organizations to recruit women to make false testimonies and a video conference call arranged by a neighboring state with women from Tabit, pointing out that the UNAMID camps have become a haven for the perpetrators of crimes but could not prosecuted by authorities due to diplomatic immunity enjoyed by them, adding that Sudanese authorities have spotted sexual violations committed by UNAMID soldiers against Darfuri girls and women over the years Sudanese diplomat confirmed that Khartoum’s government decision to expel UNAMID has taken long years under discussion between Ministry of Foreign Affairs The United Nations (UN) and not response to allegations of mass rape in the village of Tabit, North Darfur, underscoring that the improved security conditions and the talks in Addis Ababa with the rebel movements are worrying some circles that do not want stability to Darfur because their interest lies in continuation of the current situation to settle scores with the government
