Ethiopian-Sudanese forces succeed in fighting human trafficking

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Ambassador to Addis Ababa, Sudan’s Permanent Representative to African Union, Abdel-Rahman Sir Al-Khatim, has praised efforts have been undertaken by the Ethiopian-Sudanese joint forces in securing borders and combating all forms of smuggling of goods and human trafficking across the border In press statements on Sunday, Sudanese diplomat pointed out that the joint forces have succeeded in reducing the cross-border crime and addressing all violations which would affect the security, safety and stability of the two countries. He added that the joint border patrols was translated into field action between security and military organs, praising cooperation of Ethiopia with Sudan under the umbrella of the African Union on various issues to bring peace and stability to the country. "The Ethiopian Government's embrace of negotiations between Sudanese Government and the SPLM-N on the Southern Kordofan and Blue Nile states is clear proof on the strength of the two countries ' relations."
