Rebels are preparing to attack areas in Southern Kordofan: Sudan’s Interior Minister

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Interior Minister, Esmat Abdel Rahman, revealed that they have received information on intensive military preparations by Sudan People's Liberation Movement/Army - North (SPLM-N/SPLA-N) to attack areas recaptured by Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) in Southern Kordofan state
In his statement to Parliament Tuesday, Abdel Rahman pointed to the security threats generated by the war in neighboring South Sudan South through exodus of large numbers of citizens across the border States and they estimated (100,000.) persons
The SPLM-N describes itself as "a Sudanese national movement that seeks to change the policies of the centre in Khartoum and to build a new centre for the benefit of all Sudanese people regardless of their religion, gender or ethnicity background".
