|
Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudanese presidential assistant Ibrahim Ghandour discussed with the head of the African Union High Level Implementation Panel (AUHIP), Thabo Mbeki, on Tuesday the upcoming negotiations with the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement –North (SPLM-N) in the current November. In press statements after his meeting with Mbeki, Sudanese presidential assistant renewed Khartoum‘s Government's willingness to negotiate with SPLM-N and completion of the Framework Agreement, stressing that the national dialogue will be present abroad as a dialogue with the SPLM-N and Darfur movements, denying existence of any proposal to unifying the negotiating platforms due to differences between files in the international and regional aspects. He confirmed that the national dialogue is open to discuss all Sudanese internal issues, , mocking the opposition’s question that the African mediator is non-neutral mediator between the Government and the SPLM-N , saying it was a matter for Mbeki and opposition. He added that Mbeki had briefed them on the results of his visit to the U.N Security Council and a number of African countries and Egypt. Mbeki failed to hold a meeting with the national dialogue committee, aka 7+7 committee.
