Joint Sudanese-Libyan forces announce seizure of two vehicles loaded with arms and gold

Khartoum-The chairman of the military council in Kafra and commander of the joint Sudanese-Libyan forces Colonel Suleiman Hamid announced on Monday that the force has seized two four wheel drive cars on the common borders carrying light arms and small amounts of gold.

Speaking to Al-Tadamon news agency, Colonel Hamid said the joint patrol on the common borders said that a group of non-Libyan armed men were accompanying the two cars.

He said that the two cars were delivered to the Sudanese government as stated in the joint force agreement.
