UN calls on Sudan to allow humanitarian aid staff freedom of movement
|
Khartoum-The UN and its partners have revealed difficulties and bureaucratic measures that face their activities in Sudan, pointing out that they do not contribute in serving the refugees from South Sudan state that witness bloody confrontation sine last December. The UN has called on the Sudanese government to allow freedom of movement of international workers in the humanitarian field and facilitate their access to those refugees to provide them with the necessary support in the areas where they stay such as the Blue Nile and the White Nile states. The UN has welcomed the Sudanese authorities’ declaration to take measures to convey more than 30.000 South Sudan refugees from their areas in kilo 10 area in the white nile where they face the threat of flooding.
