Cario-Juba-The South Sudan government has affirmed keenness to realize durable peace and reconciliation as soon as possible. The ambassador of South Sudan to Egypt has said that the President of the Republic Salva Kiir Mayardit has instructed the entire organs of the state to reach solutions to stop fighting between the people of the homeland. He said that President Kiir has made a road map plan that includes cessation of hostilities, provision of humanitarian assistance to the affected people, and exert efforts to help the displaced persons return to their areas.
It also includes conduct of political dialogue to reach a durable peace with the participation of the suspects of the failed military coup attempt.

It also includes the presidential amnesty as part of the efforts toward realization of peace , in accordance with the laws in South Sudan, bring those who were responsible for crimes to justice, establish a national council for peace and reconciliation, reconsider the government institutions especially the military, fight corruption and prepare for elections in 2015.

He said that the events in South Sudan were not between Dinka and Neur, saying that the Neur tribe has nothing to do with the claims of Machar. He described it as a failed military coup attempt by Machar and a group of the politicians who have lost their posts in the last ministerial reshuffle.
