|
Khartoum-A group of youth in the Sudan Change Movement has submitted a written memorandum to the Chairman of the movement, Dr. Abdelrahim Ahmed, in which they asked him to table this memo at the political bureau to decide on issue of the Sudan Movement Change joining the Sudanese Revolutionary Front. The memorandum included other 17 items. Dr. Abelrahim has warmly welcomed the youth, and said he, personally, supports their demand of joining the revolutionary front, stating that he has raised this issue at the political bureau meeting last year, but two thirds of the members voted against the step. He said that we should not forget that our alliance with the national consensus is progressing well toward revolutionary front. He promised to put forward the issue at the political bureau meeting, adding that we could submit it to the central opinion council if necessary. He affirmed to the youth that they are in a modern, practical and developed movement that follows and sticks to the institutions. He reminded them that all the members of the movement have sworn in to be committed to the decisions of the institution even if they are against their personal views.
