Al-bashir : Sudan will not allow anti Juba acts from its territories
|
Khartoum-Juba-The President of the Republic Omer Al-bashir has said that Sudan will not allow any anti Juba acts from Sudanese territories. While the fighting escalates in different parts in South President Salva Kirr Mayardit has rejected rebels request to release the political detainees in his country. In the meantime, the SPLM army spokesperson said his forces are advancing toward unity and upper nile state which are controlled by the rebels of Machar. At the conclusion of his visit to Juba, President AlBahir said that the visit, which comes within the context of their concern about what is going on in South Sudan, aimed to discuss what can be done to restore peace and stability south Sudan, saying that we accepted the split of Sudan into two states for peace. In a joint press conference with President Kiir, President Al-Bahshir said that we are convinced that armed acts do not serve any cause, and that sitting to talks and reaching solution are a must. In the meantime, President Kiir said his ready for negotiation with Reik Machar but without any pre conditions from the other party, affirming the control of the SPLM army over the situations in Juba. He added that the detained elements will be released in accordance with the laws alone, and after indentifying those who were responsible for the killing of many citizens. On his part, President Al-Bashir announced readiness to receive the refugees who escape from the fighting in South Sudan, denying support to any opposition forces in any neighboring country.
