Indonesia expresses its willingness to expand its investments in Sudan
|
Khartoum - Indonesian Ambassador to Khartoum, Dr Sujatmiko, has expressed his country's willingness to expand its investments in Sudan and to encourage Indonesian government and private companies to work in the oil exploration and production in the country. During his meeting with Sudan's Oil Minister, Dr. Awad Al-Jaz, on Monday, Sujatmiko discussed the oil investments opportunities in Sudan and ways to boost the relations between the two countries. For his part, Sudan's Oil Minister welcomed the Indonesian desire to operate in the oil field in the Sudan, and briefed the ambassador on the oil investment opportunities in the country. He appreciated the firm relations between Sudan and Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Director of the Oil Exploration and Production Department at the Petroleum Ministry briefed the ambassador on the opportunities of investment in the oil blocks in different states in Sudan.
