Sudan and Ethiopia approve the outcome of the Joint Technical Committee Addis Ababa-Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) has disclosed that the meetings of Sudanese-Ethiopian Technical Subcommittee which concluded its work on Monday in Addis Ababa dealt with the evaluation of the joint cooperation between the two countries based on the Joint Defense Protocol signed in May 2009. SAF's Spokesman, Col. Al-Sawarmi Khalid Saad, said in a press statement that the Defense Ministers of the two countries signed on the outputs and results of the meeting of the chiefs of staff, pointing out that it was decided that the next Committee meeting in February next year in Khartoum. He added that meetings of Sudanese-Ethiopian Technical Subcommittee dominated by a spirit of brotherhood and cooperation to move ahead with the agreement, noting that it included three levels which are experts, the chiefs of staff and ministers of defense SAF's Spokesman explained that the meeting also dealt with security issues such as the joint field patrols, exchange information, control elements of the armed opposition, the smuggling of arms and human beings, illegal trade, as well as the issues of training and peacekeeping issues.
