The dialogue is the only way to overcome the obstacles with South Sudan: the ruling party says Khartoum-Sudan's ruling National Congress Party (NCP) has reiterated that dialogue is the only way to overcome obstacles and reach a common understanding with the State of South Sudan, pointing out that the dialogue will build solid strategic relations which can exceed all current pending issues. In a press statements on Sunday, The NCP' Press Secretary, Yassir Yousef, confirmed that the two parties should sit down together to reach to common understandings the regarding the issue of Abyei area, indicating that the resolution process must take all includes all citizens resident in Abyei. He explained that the mechanisms of the dialogue is the path for all issue, along with the need for commitment to the cooperation agreement between the two parties which many of its items have been implemented, stressing the importance of full and strict compliance with the rest of the protocols signed agreements between the two sides In January 2012, South Sudan shut down the production of oil and in April as both countries nearly slipped into all-out war. In September 2012, under international pressure, the leaders of both countries signed a cooperation agreement that addressed their unresolved issues, and in March 2013, both sides agreed to resume oil production.
