First Vice President Briefed on Arrangements for holding Sudan National Youth Conference
Khartoum, Sep. 1 (SUNA) The First Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has lauded the role of youths and their openness towards the Horn of Africa. He also he commended their role in giving clear messege for the unification of the national rank through the efforts they have exerted in the past period. This came when he received in his office at the Republican Palace Sunday Balla Yousif, the chairman of the Sudanese National Youth Union. In a press statement following his meeting with the First Vice President, Balla said that he briefed Taha on the preparations and arrangements for convening the 6th Conference of the Sudanese National Youths under the motto (together for creating future) in the first half of current September. He said that the First Vice President of the Republic has underscored the role of the conference and the youths in reflecting a clear messge on their capability to address challenges in the coming period as well as Sudan youths' leading role in formulation of the future, the unification of the national rank and adopting openness toward Africa. The Chairman of the National Youth Union indicated that 638 persons of the constitutional membership of Youth Unions would attended the conference, besides more than 2000 of youths representing the Sudanese community, in addition to the participation of the youths representing the African Youth Union, the European Youth Council, the International Democratinc Youth Council and the active organizations in the neighbouring countires and Africa.
